Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

It would be an understatement if we say that Ontario is one the most popular destination for immigrants from all over the world. Ontario is “the most” sought after Province for immigrants who want to make Canada their home either temporarily or permanently. To cater to such a huge demand and to manage the huge influx of immigrants, Ontario coined the most dynamic and rapidly evolving, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). It works in partnership with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).



Foreign workers, international students and others with the right skills, experience and education apply to the OINP for a nomination. The OINP recognizes and nominates people for permanent residence who have the skills and experience the Ontario economy needs, and the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve applications for permanent residence.
